The Conscious Advocate Collective is a wellness education and community membership helping women better understand their bodies, navigate health information with confidence, and make more informed decisions for themselves and their families.
Rooted Advocate is the brand and website introducing that membership, built to feel grounded, educational, and emotionally aligned rather than like generic wellness marketing.
Context
The project needed a more cohesive digital presence for The Conscious Advocate Collective, a custom website that could introduce the membership clearly while establishing a visual foundation for a broader platform build.
Most wellness communities rely on stock photography, claim-heavy language, or clinical framing. This needed to feel calm, curious, and confident, aligned with body literacy, advocacy, and intentional living.
The site also needed to work as a phone-first experience, since much of the audience would arrive from social and mobile contexts.
Brand Identity
The brand system was developed before the frontend build, covering color, typography, logo, and visual direction meant to carry across the website, educational content, and future platform experiences.
The color system centers on warm neutrals and grounded earth tones, a palette that feels educational and reflective rather than high-contrast or clinical.
The logo and identity system were built to feel rooted and approachable, readable at small sizes, strong in the header, and consistent across loading states and future platform touchpoints.
A broader mood board established typography pairings, spacing rhythm, and the softer editorial direction that would define the site’s visual language.
Supporting brand applications extended the system into membership language and collective positioning, keeping the visual direction cohesive as the offer came into focus.
Website Experience
The frontend was built from scratch with React, TypeScript, and Tailwind, structured around a member journey that explains The Conscious Advocate Collective before asking for commitment.
The homepage includes a soft aura cursor, rotating hero language, and scroll-driven pacing designed to feel reflective rather than promotional.
The How It Works section maps the membership journey as a stepped path, one of the strongest visual moments on the site. On mobile, the same journey reads clearly at phone scale, with resource sections and stepped flows tuned for smaller screens rather than scaled-down desktop layouts.
Detail & Polish
Smaller interaction details were treated with the same care as the larger sections: email tap behavior with copy/open options, a custom loading state with the logo mark, and SMS signup UI matched to the site’s visual system.
Outcome
The V1 website is live at rootedadvocate.com, introducing The Conscious Advocate Collective with a cohesive brand, member journey, and custom visual library.

Custom Visual Direction
The website required imagery that felt educational, grounded, and emotionally aligned with the values behind the Collective.
Rather than relying on generic wellness photography, a custom visual library was developed specifically for Rooted Advocate. Each image was art directed to support themes of body literacy, wellness education, advocacy, personal growth, and intentional living while maintaining a consistent visual language across the entire experience.
The imagery became an extension of the brand identity itself. From educational illustrations to lifestyle scenes, every visual was selected and developed to reinforce the feeling of calm, curiosity, and confidence that defines the Collective.
This approach allowed the website, educational content, and future platform experiences to share a cohesive visual foundation from the beginning.
